Urgent and out-of-hours care and off-site visits

Accidents and emergencies

Please notify our reception staff if you feel that your problem is an emergency or that you need to be seen urgently.

Every attempt will be made to accommodate a request for an urgent appointment. These would include an acutely unwell child, minor lacerations, fractures or sporting injuries. However, for all life threatening emergencies, please call the ambulance on 000, as we are not adequately equipped to deal with these circumstances.

Should you require an appointment and the doctor you normally see is fully booked, you will be offered an appointment with another doctor. However, you may also choose to remain on a cancellation list, should an appointment come available, with your preferred doctor. Please, ensure that we hold an up to date mobile/ phone number to enable us to contact you at short notice, for any appointment changes.
